CAREER SYNOPSIS:

I have spent 15 years as a videographer, video editor, writer, researcher & producer on a number of video and media projects worldwide, living in New York, Manila, Brussels and South Carolina .My work has enabled me to explore and research a number of global issues mainly in the southern hemisphere. I have used my experience to support many non profit and international organizations in their quest for cost-effective, informative and visually compelling (and cheap) audio-visual services. For this type of work, I 'd do it for free if I could.

I relocated from the Philippines back to the US in 1997 after 4 years overseas, leaving behind a gorgeous filipina, Maria Cecilia. Back in the US, I worked with an individual I had haphazardly (ask me about it, it's freaky) bumped into at an advocacy video conference (Benton Foundation) in Wash DC . I worked for John Gelinas's company Mediassociates, during which time, I formed DCI. Development Communications International . Sadly, John passed in 2000. After a zoom of phenomena, I just didn't know what to do, so I thought, do what you do well: video. Medianetwork was formed sometime later. DCI produces video programs on environmental and cultural preservation, as well as non-profit featured organizational m videos, where much attention, public and international awareness needs to be generated on an array of issues. Medianetwork provides video production, post-production and audio-visual production services in Columbia, South Carolina. DCI is dedicated to the memory of John Gelinas.
